Hysteria was initially a term used as a medical diagnosis for a so-called disease that affected only women. The affected individuals were extraordinary, intellectual, emotional women - often misunderstood and misrepresented, as many others throughout history.

As absurd as it may sound today, women were considered to have caught "Hysteria" when they were too focused on tasks not apt for their gender such as thinking, writing, studying. The symptoms were bursts of emotions, uncontrollable lust among other inconveniences which were thought to be caused by having their uterus wandering through their body - clearly feeling out of place.

Today we rebrand Hysteria and take ownership of what is ours: our emotions, our thoughts and our uterus. It becomes a  platform for content creation that challenges traditional narratives around femininity and the workplace. We now focus on producing content, finding inspiration in nature and connecting with our inner wisdom, sparking conversations and reflection.

Our mission

In a realm traditionally dominated by aggressive growth and competition, we believe in tapping into the inherent power of femininity—intuition, empathy, collaboration—as equally vital to achieving professional success.

Together, we shift consciously to a new paradigm. We harvest the pursuit of each individual's labour of love. We enable flourishing in any organisation through uncompromising authenticity.
